Outstanding! This museum has something for every age. I was thrilled that both my parents and my teenager were captivated by the mind of Leonardo da Vinci. It helped that there were plenty of works brought to life. We were able to make some works run or move and even play music of our own making. The STEAM interactive area had everybody using their own creativity which was a new and unique experience. While this museum is outstanding on its own, it’s placed in one of the best spots in Pueblo. We were able to grab a bite to eat for lunch within walking distance (many places to choose from) and then grab a locally made ice cream near by too. It was a perfect afternoon! This is a must see for anybody near or wanting to visit Southern Colorado! ~ Kimberly L
Really loved this place! The entrance is a little confusing as to where to go for tickets/etc. You enter in a souvenir shop and it feels like some signage could help! Past that- this place is very fun, very interactive. We (2 adults) had a lot of fun messing with the different wooden / mechanical inventions. The staff was very knowledgeable and you could tell the guy on the floor was very excited about his job and what he gets to teach others about. Great hiring! He also led us to the Steam area in the back- we mistook it for an area for children- so wrong! There are fun projects for kids and adults alike. Interactive art, paper airplane launchers, drone obstacles, and much more. Definitely worth a visit! :) Free parking garage across the street- very convenient. Good food and drinks nearby. Riverwalk nearby. Very nice area ~ Ami P
I had a good experience with the entire place! Walking in, you're greeted with a very well put together gift shop and lobby, with a mural of the last supper painted by a local artist which makes it feel like it's really a part of the town. The main showroom is packed with several recreations of DaVinci's machines (some interactive) and art pieces. When I went, there was an entire lecture about the last supper that made me see the painting in a new light. And just around the corner are more interactive replicas and the kids steam section, which occasionally holds drone shows! All and all my experience was great and I'm super exited for what the future of this place holds and I really hope It can spark joy for generations to come! ~ Paul L
The Leonardo da Vinci Museum of North America in Pueblo absolutely blew me away. I expected a museum. What I found was a place that makes you feel like a kid again. Everywhere you turn there's another invention, another machine, another "How in the world did he think of that?" moment. Most of the exhibits are hands-on, so you're not just looking at history, you're interacting with it. What really struck me was realizing that one man's curiosity helped shape so much of the world we live in today. Artist, engineer, inventor, scientist... Leonardo refused to stay in one lane, and this museum captures that spirit perfectly. Whether you're into history, engineering, art, or you're just curious about how things work, don't miss this place. I walked out inspired, and that's about the highest compliment I can give a museum. Fascinating window into the mind of da Vinci. Artist, scientist, scholar, researcher...he is the definition of a Renaissance man. Excellent signage explaining the various mechanical inventions he either drew or physically built - many you can interact with to see how they work...including the bicycle and a robot knight! Not to mention various flying machines. Then the art, the Last Supper, the Lady with an Ermine and, of course, the Mona Lisa to name a few. Wonderful explanations of the subjects, who he painted them for, and where he was in his artistic journey when he painted them. Fascinating man...fascinating museum! ~ Jennifer W
If you love information, and are artistic or an engineer, or better yet a Christian! You need to see this! His vision of the world and the thing's he created, that we use in everyday life is amazing… his astonishing vision for body, mind and soul, and his life’s work all come together! He was a man who believed in the spirit of God. He says it in his work! He just wanted to understand better the relationship between man, nature and the cosmos and they truly are absolute, and examples of themselves! He KNEW God created all.. just just wanted to understand it all through mathematics l, science, and art, and anatomy! We were there at the perfect timing they had a speaker talk about his most famous painting “the Last Supper” Let’s just say.. as an artist & Christian, and someone who can appreciate his inventions, I will never look at the last supper painting the same.. Worth a trip if your into anything just said. ~ Carlos S
The Leonardo Da Vinci Museum in Pueblo was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The location itself is great, and the exhibits were genuinely fun and engaging. It’s the kind of place where you can tell a lot of thought went into how everything is presented. What really stood out, though, was the staff. From the moment we walked in, everyone was kind, professional, and clearly knowledgeable. Everyone seemed like they were happy to answer questions and added a lot to the visit just by being so informative. If you’re in the Pueblo area, this is well worth your time. Highly recommend easily a 10 out of 10! ~ J
An interesting and well displayed exhibit of daVinci's works; some are interactive, and each piece, whether his artwork or an invention, are documented to give the visitor of idea of daVinci's intentions or the interest that led to the development of the works. The manuscript room houses volumes of his writings and drawings. Children and adults will enjoy this museum, and the building on the Riverwalk is conveniently located, clean, and staffed by friendly, welcoming people. You won't want to limit your visit to just once! A lovely way to spend your time. daVinci had an incredible mind and it's well worth the trip to Pueblo. ~ Becky S
We took the kids here to explore the mind of Leonardo da Vinci. It was very well organized and the prices for admission were very reasonable. The artwork, inventions, and hands-on displays brought life to his ideas. Seeing how his inventions are still used today in modern machinery brought relevance to the kids understanding of what they were looking at. The S.T.E.A.M. center at the end was the biggest hit. It allowed kids to make their own unique inventions and learn to write backwards like da Vinci which was a great and entertaining touch to an already enjoyable experience. This is definitely worth a visit. ~ D B
Totally Awesome!!!! So much to do, see and more importantly, to play with! If you have even the slightest interest in da Vinci or interested in art, science, flight, history and/or the Renaissance or just the world in general, this is place for you. Every person of any age will absolutely love this place. Located on the historic Pueblo Riverwalk and steps of from Union Ave, great restaurants, the amazing Arkansas Levee murals and so much more, this makes Pueblo Colorado a must go-to destination for anyone heading to the western US. ~ jayrosenberg2004
Took my grandkids to the NEW Leonardo da Vinci Museum in Pueblo and it was a wonderful experience for all of us! Learned so much about da Vinci I didn’t know and the interactive exhibits were so fun for the kids. They loved the sand table and building their own animation movie. Our grandson spent an hour at the magnet wall and our granddaughter loves art and they had craft stations. Highly recommend! Took a boat tour and had lunch at Angelo’s on the Riverwalk after so great family day all in all! ~ Get C
Recently toured this fascinating and aesthetically pleasing museum! Certainly worth a day trip (it’s only approximately 1 hour 45 minutes from Denver). From the replicas of da Vinci sketches / drawings; to wooden models of his inventions; to the water related inventions; and the kids hands-on area, this place has every age group covered. Some items in the museum are only found in Florence and Pueblo! Also, there’s a really nice conference room if you’re looking to have an event. Something to keep in mind if you’re looking for day camp for your kids, they offer that as well and reasonably priced. The tours are timely and not over crowded. If you’re just driving through headed north or south, it’s worth a stop to stretch your legs. Highly recommend. Akira (sp?), our tour guide, did an exceptional job describing all the areas and history associated with the exhibits. Thanks also to Joe Riggo (sp?). He was welcoming and accommodating as we visited and asked him questions about the process that they went through to have a museum of this caliber in Pueblo. ~ GA M
Great 1st time visit. Parking was free across the street. Entrance looked cool and its right by their river walk. I enjoyed how some of the exhibits you could interact with. They had plenty of space inside so it was easy to move around with other guests. The back area had a neat drone challenge along with animation and other fun things. Entrance fees were low cost. Id just ask their get some magnets so I can continue my collection from places I visited. ~ Paul Z
We really enjoyed the museum. There is a free parking garage across the street from the museum. It’s right on the Pueblo Riverwalk which is beautiful with so much to look at. The museum is small and doable in about an hour and a half. Bring the kiddos! There is a STEAM area where they can create and enjoy hands on activities. Some of the displays in the museum are meant to be tried. Some aren’t. We really enjoyed having an expert available to explain displays and pictures that da Vinci painted. ~ ginny l
Toured this museum yesterday and was pleasantly surprised how fantastic this place was. Everyone that worked there was over the top accommodating and full of information. I’m Italian and very interested in Leonardo and all his history! From the minute you step a foot in this place, you are transported back in time! I honestly didn’t feel I was in Pueblo anymore.it was all so surreal. Thanks for bringing this beautiful Museum to us!! ~ Bernadette A
Great educational experience for all ages. Very accurate replicas of many inventions and our grandson had a blast with interactive exhibits. I am glad that this nice museum in 30 min drive from home and we do not need to stay in Denver traffic to have such enjoyable learning experience. Very friendly staff showed us how other replicas worked. Free parking across the street is a bonus. ~ Elena G
Heard about this museum from my sister in Monument. Totally worth the drive down from Metro Denver. So cool that Colorado is home to the only da Vinci museum in North America. I learned how brilliant and talented this man was in so many things. The staff was fantastic and the talk about the painting "The last Supper" opened my eyes about so many things about that painting. Will be back. ~ Bruce P
Okay wow! What an incredible museum! I truly appreciate the way the exhibits really come to life, how immersive the experience is, and how it allows people of all ages to truly understand the creative and genius mind of Leonardo da Vinci. What a great balance of literary, visual, and hands on learning. Thank you so much for bringing this gift to Pueblo! ~ Britney C
To the Currators of this exhibit. Finally someone appreciative enough to hopefully hear my Words. There's a hidden message inside the Mona Lisa's EYES From Leonardo however you can ONLY SEE IT when you lay her down flat stand above and in front of her then look into her Eyes and you will See Davinci who was being held Captive and exploited by the Roman Church. ~ A
Kenneth was a great tour guide for our field trip of 3rd and 5th graders. He engaged well with the kids and shared a lot of knowledge, explaining the details of Leonardo Da Vinci's designs, paintings, and Renaissance living in general. Incredible experience! Thank you to everyone at the museum that made our field trip so unforgettable. ~ Stephanie H
Such an incredible experience! We visited while attending a private event for the hot air balloons during the puebli chile fest and it was so intriguing, interactive, and knowledgeable. There's even a full hamds-on exhibit specifically for the kids, and its amazing!! Absolutely will come again with my kiddos on a regular basis. ~ Shani O
Oh my gosh, this place is awesome! There are lots of things you are allowed to touch, which is not only fun for kids. And the STEAM section kept my little kid's attention for over an hour until we had to pry her away! The Last Supper lecture was great! Just the whole place is wonderful I could go back many times over ~ Amy H
Wonderful museum with stunning representations of Da Vinci’s works. We especially enjoyed the STEAM center which had endless engaging activities and opportunities for both adults and kids alike.
